Arleen Bussing: I can't really tell what you're asking. If you're asking for the difference between a computer program and a programming language then I can do that. A computer program is a compiled project intended for use on a computer. A programming language is the different ways to create a program. Like c++, java, python, and c# are all programming languages use to make computer programs. English is to an essay in English class as a Programming language is to a computer program....Show more
Lia Argall: Well a language is just the style/format/type of writing you do in order to write programs. Examples are C, C++, Python, JavaScript, and many more.Obviously, you need to have a program to write your codes in, and these programs are specific to a certain language. For example, Eclipse is a program that you can write Java codes in. There is a program for download on Pythons website that you can write Python codes in. There is another called Maple but im not sure wh! at language that uses. I hope this makes sense, ill admit im not an expert but this is what ive gathered so far....Show more
Arnette Dominici: There are 'n' no. of programming langauges like C, C++, Java etc. For example, if you want to find sum of two number, you write a 'program' using any of the languages which will do the work for you.Its like any other language, we humans use, say 'English' Language Name : EnglishProgram would be : 'what is your name?'Similarly, computer has 'programming language' like mentioned above, which they understand and we write a 'Program' to communicate with computers....Show more
