Miguel Densley: your the older brother and you like HULK??? lol ... if you like superhero comics you should check out Green Lantern, Secret Warriors, X-Force etc but some of the best books right now arent superhero books, you should definitely check out Scalped, Criminal, The Boys, Preacher, Y: The Last Man, Transmetropolitan .... oh ya and LOL at the first answer, Manga is pure trash, to compare it to American Comics is just blasphemy and outright dumb!
Pam Rampadarat: -totally captivated is a story between a mafia leader who fell in love with one of his subordinates which turns out to be someone from his child hood. its korean manga so be careful when you read it. it also has yaoi contents since the mafia boss is a guy and the underling is also a guy. :)-steal moon is a sci-fi story about peep rooms, digital angels and a group of mysterious guys called "Selene". Nozomi earns money though street fights but one day, he meets a stronger guy and loses. He becomes the ! slave of the mysterious guy and has to work in a peep room.-aoi hitsuji no yume is a prequel to Steal Moon. In order to find out the criminal who killed his lover, Kai shows up in the town that the two groups, Saruto and Maina, are ruling. There he manages to get close and become the bodyguard of "Steel Ratri", a man who has the same ring as Kai's lover, on his hands.-presentiment is another work of makato tateno like steal moon and aoi hitsuji no yume. the story goes, Charon's lead vocalist Akira wants to sing a song written by Sunaga, a famous actor but Sunaga requests Akira's body as payment for that song....Sunaga has great musical talent but he has a careless attitude towards everything, Akira is angry with Sunaga's easygoing attitude, but can't help himself from feeling....-Ka Shin Fu/Kashinfuu is another mafia story. The Kourenji Family, a wealthy Japanese empire, is looking for an heir to its massive family. The two candidates, Karou and Ryuugo, are fighting to succ! eed as the next heir. But as they two pit their strength again! st each other, Kaoru starts to show another side of himself. It seems he might be more interested in winning Ryuugo than the family fortune.-tenshi ja nai or i'm not an angel is a gender bender type. its a story of a girl named hikaru who doesn't want to draw too much attention to herself due to some past experiences. then, she got to be the school's idol and a real model izumi's room matye in a all girl's school. she later finds out that izumi is a boy. and izumi black mail's her. what is she going to do?-w-juliet is also a gender bender type, a boy named makoto transfer to another co-ed school as a girl and he met a girl who is often mistaken as a boy named ito. now, everyone thinks they are the best of friends and both are very famous on the drama club. how will they love story progress?-vampire game is one of my favorites although its fantasy and has monsters and vampires the love story is pretty cute. ishtar is the princess who is inlove with her body guard daress for ! more than ten years. then she picks up a kyawl (some kind of cat)which later she found out to be the reincarnated vampire duzzell who once sought to destroy their land but was killed by her great grandfather st. phelios. funny thing is she helps the vampire find the reincarnated phelios so duzzell can kill him and extract his revenge. at the end, duzzell fell in love with ishtar and does anything to protect her he even sacrificed himself so ishtar could live and marry daress. its really romantic. oh! and watch out for the other love stories in the manga! i love illsaide's story the best!!! all men are under his feet. even, duzzell fell for him! :) there's a lot of pretty boys!!!!-cantarella is a story set back at europe with in the vatican. its a story of ceasar borgia the onqueror. to spice things up a bit it became a historical fantasy, romantic anime. one of the best works of higuri yuu. it has an amazing drawing and story plot.-dragon voice is not really a story of a dr! agon. what the title means to say is that the main character rin amami ! has a powerful voice that can persuade and attract its listeners. although it is a bit gruffy, he can still sing and through the ears of his listeners they are totally captivated. he was recruited in a band and then, their hardships and trials begin.-silver diamond is another of those shounen ai related themes, rakan was an ordinary high school boy until he met a man named chigusa who he found lying in his garden. chigusa aimed a rifle at him which is made out of a tree branceh and when rakan touches it by accident, sprouts and leaves started to grow on the rifle. chigusa believed that rakan is a living sanome that came from the world he came from. will rakan believe chigusa's story? a man he just met that happened to have been lying on his garden?-count cain/god child is tragic story created by kaori yuki. it is set on London. when i started reading it i was puzzled why the title was count cain, i thought since the name of the protagonist is Count Cain Hargreaves I began t! o see the connection, however, the "god child" title for the season 2 puzzles me. later at the end of the story i finally understood it. cain is also the son of god. on the old testament he has a brother named abel, right? and among the two, it was cain who is bad and was punished by god. it has the same theme in the manga. cain was punished by his father because...Show more
