Favorite vegan snacks?

Claudio Drullard: I enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrots for my vegan snack.

Rivka Killmer: baby carrots dipped in Hummus!!!!

Lue Podewils: Mostly, I just snack on fruit and bready things. But sometimes I'll make a batch of roasted chickpeas and snack on those. Delicious and a good source of protein!

Barton Sease: Fried taters, any kind will do for me. I also like hummus with any kind of scooper - veggie pieces, pita chips, etc. As for cereal, Grape Nuts are healthy, tasty and very crunchy. They get softer in soy milk, but they never lose their texture.

Emeline Albracht: My favorite snack is Mrs. May's nut clusters. They come in an almond, cashew or pistachio flavor. They are just the right amount of nuts to get your protein, but not overload on the fat and they're sweet and good. Kosher, vegan and all-natural. You can't beat that with a stick.Fibre One is a good cereal that's vegan and healthy. I just finished my box of the cinnamon variety. Th! ey have about three flavors, but the cinnamon is the only one that's vegan. It's really good!...Show more

Daria Verfaillie: Many types of Oreos are vegan! Make sure to read the labels, though, as the ingredients sometimes vary. A lot of childrens fruit snacks are vegan too, again, read the labels. If you REALLY don't want to read labels...Dried fruit can also make a nice snack. Then again, so does regular fruit. Many supermarkets carry Tofutti brand frozen treats, and they are pretty good. Also many sorbets/frozen fruitty things are vegan. As far as chips go, look for Tings, they are like vegan cheese doodles. And if you're feeling a little gross, a lot of tubs of cake icing are vegan. I like to take animal crackers (often vegan) and dip them in the icing. Luna bars are also all vegan and pretty tasty. Chocolate soy milk is also a nice treat. As far as cereals go, SO MANY are vegan. If you're looking form somethign really healthy, look at the Kashi brand stuff. It's p! acked with protein and fiber, but check the flavor, as some co! ntain honey or milk. If you want something less nutritious, I believe Cocoa Puffs are vegan......Show more

Jesse Pirieda: potato chips. french fries.
