Von Houskeeper: Unfortunately, I'm leaning towards agreeing with your parents because being a true friend consists of two things...being there when you need them and being there when you don't need them. If you haven't caught on, that means that they should be there through all things...even dating someone new. One thing that I could not comprehend when I was dating a boy was that my best friend was there for me even when I was a complete jerk to her. It was incredible after we had a mutual break-up when she was still there just as she had been before I started dating him...and it had been 4 months of complete idiocy. Just because she is dating someone, doesn't mean see should ignore you, although I can tell you, I've see this happen many times. People find boyfriends...and ignore their friends. Then...after they break up, there they are again...right at your side, wanting to be friends again. You have to make the decision whether you want to remain friends with this person if and when that happens! But beware....this will happen again when the next boyfriend comes around!!!...Show more

Tobie Oshea: they are not true friends cos if they were, they wont stop calling or talking to u. i suggest u get in contact with them and ask them why they are doing all this, i u find out that they are not worth it then u just have to let g! o and find new friends.
