Canada vs UK for higher education?

Cliff Jacoby: i wanna know which place is country is better for higher education precisely engineering. i may work there for 2-3 years after graduation. i would also like to know about the cost of living and jobs there. i have got a very good academic background and i am getting admission into manchester, bristol, warwick etc. in canada simon fraser is my preference(other good canadian universities not having intake in jan if u know more please tell me). i am going to take admission in january 2011. i am from india. i have heard that uk is like going down and has a blurry future(no jobs and high expenses) whereas canada is economically stronger and has a brighter future. my friends told me that uk universities as well as living is very expensive. is it true?...Show more

Lana Uliano: The UK has a very big influx of foreign students from Arab, Asian to Chinese. No offense to anyone but the universities prefixed with "American"in the UAE are just normal , having "Ameri! can" in-front of them just makes those establishments look and feel important. America, Canada and the UK offer great education, i would try to apply for a UK based University. It's tough because the costs are high.
