Shon Almquist: I live in Texas and if this is the only vehicle that you have to transport the child then it will be okay to do so............
Derrick Cacioppo: I believe you can, I read #2 and it talks about it.http://pregnancyandbaby.sheknows.com/pregnancy/bab...Although like she said above me, try to turn off your airbags!
Francisco Schonhardt: Your child will be fine, however if it is possible to turn the airbag off, that would be safer. Airbags can seriously injure or kill small children, either by the force of the bag deploying or being struck by the piece from the dash that comes off to release the bag.I got this from the TX DPS:"Although there is no law that prevents youngsters from sitting in the front seat of a vehicle, the safest place for a child in a car is in a rear seat, properly buckled into a child safety seat or a booster seat.Air bags don't replace child safety seats and may increase the risk of serious injury to children. Children younger th! an 13 should never ride in the front seats of vehicles with active passenger air bags. If you do have to transport a child in the front seat in an emergency â" make sure the front seat is moved all the way back on the track, placing as much room as possible between the deployment zone of the air bag and the vehicle seatâ¦but NEVER place a rear-facing safety seat on a front seat."...Show more
