Maye Delk: bare minerals or bare esscuentals. its really light makeup watch the infomerical
Burt Cheevers: It's basically the color pigments (minerals) in original powder form, without the binders that hold the powder together in that solid "cake" like most blushes and eye shadows. Binders are things like like jojoba oil, triglicerides, dimethicone, etc. These makeups are supposed to be good for your skin. I use the BareMinerals, and I like it. I have oily places on my face, and I use oil blotter sheets to take off the shine off those spots around lunch time. I like those sheets, because they take off the shine but don't disturb my makeup. I have found that with the mineral makeup, if you don't have oily skin, or if you have combination skin, you will want to prep those non-oily parts with a good moisturizer, or makup primer, and let it set before you start buffing in the minerals; otherwise, the minerals can look a little dry, I think. At least they do on me, and th! is includes around my eye area. Getting that right took a little experimenting, but I like playing with that kind of thing. So I use a moisturizer with them, and I really like the BareMinerals....Show more
Barrett Alosa: The bare minerals and bare essentials is made from minerals from the earth which keeps the oil out of your skin, which also keeps your skin smooth and healthy-looking!Did that answer your question?
