makeup for brown eyes?

Chi Alfero: Check out Physician's Formula Customize eyes in brown eyes and that should work really great!! They have 3 styles in 1 palette for casual, semi dressy, and formal.

Dewey Heersink: grays and purples for the night. gold and browns for the day. maybe navy's too.

Mitchel Demry: Eye shadow: Brown eyes, unlike other eyes, do not have an opposite or complementary color. This is because brown is actually a combination of the other colors. The colors that go really well with brown eyes are deep shades of brown, blue, plum, gold, blue gray, vanilla, purple and violet. Even eye shadows that have metallic overtones, such as gold and bronze, help to bring out the color of your eyes. Grey eyeshadows and liners will give you a smokey eye look.Opposite colors brighten each other .Eye shadows with shimmer will brighten brown eyesEyeliner: To make brown eyes pop up, choose a dark liner in a shade that best matches your eyeshadow. Navy or plum tones of eyeliner work w! ell with blue and purple eye shadows. Applying black eyeliner will bring a dramatic effect and really make your brown eyes shine. For more dramatic look intensity, you could apply liquid eyeliner.Mascara: Curl your lashes and coat them with mascara. As your eyelashes are naturally dark, you can easily use black mascara.1. Apply light tones eyeshadow from lash to brow. Use neutral eyeshadow.2. Apply medium-toned eyeshadow in the crease and blend up to the brow bone.3. Apply dark eyeshadow of the same color on outer corner of the eyelid.4. To brighten your eyes, you could apply a bit of shimmery shadow in the inner corners of your eyes.5. Line upper lids and optionally lower.6. Apply mascara on upper lashes with emphasis on outer corners.Hope I helped...Show more

Loriann Carrigan: Purples go good with brown eyes. If your eyes have a little green in them, oranges/pinks will bring out the green. Chose a colour that is opposite the colour in your eyes, or the colour that you're trying to bring out on the colour wheel. The opposite of yellow is blue, the opposite of orange is purple (and brown eyes have some orange in them usually). Google a colour wheel to get some more ideas. And of course, for night time, the 'Smokey eye' is always popular. Blend a darker shade of the colour you choose into the crease of your eye, 'smoking' it out as you blend it. Youtube will have a lot of tutorials on this. :) Have fun!...Show more

Lynn Melbourne: If you want to play it safe, use a nice dark brown or grey (or even mix them together) for a soft smokey look.If you want something different ANY colour goes with brown eyes since brown is a neutral colour! Have it bright for a pop or keep it soft with a slight ! shimmer for understated chic.Follow with black mascara and black eyeliner for a nice dramatic finish (brown is a little too boring so it's best for day while black is the best choice for night-time!...Show more
