i just bought this boat?

Rhett Kaines: If you can see the starter, trace the think wire coming off of it. It might be inside of a plastic box about the size of a battery with a strap going around the middle of it to hold the top down. Hope this helps

Abby Herwood: Hi hi, normally the batt are located near by the engines bay

Kaley Lappas: What kind of boat is it?It's usually somewhere around the motors.

Monica Voltin: Sure would like some more information on the type of boat.Typically, in the stern. Check under and behind each of the aft seats.I have seen them under the rear bench on a pontoon or ski boat. Also have seen them under a rear storage bucket on a deck boat. You lift out a plastic storage bin and there they are.I have even seen them hidden in the helm station of a center console boat.Best bet: check with the guy/girl you bought it from.Best of luck....Show more

Norma Marsalis: Follow the cable from her engine starter to the perco switch (if there is, turn it to al! l that will make the system on for starting let it run to recharge the batteries. Then turn it to 1 or 2 for running ) from there to the battery. It will be your hot lead.Oh, be sure to check the water in the battery/batteries

Darrel Stele: should be in a dry spot near the engine or in the helm .trace the large red wire from the fuse panel if you can ,it has to go to power...

Ira Porietis: Best to find a friend or pay some 1 to instruct you on the boat> Take a Coast Guard Axillary course> In seamanship> They have a lot info for you>
